Monthly Volunteer Orientations for NEW volunteers are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7:00pm – 8:00pm at the HFHYC office: 825 N Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC

Our most visible volunteers are at construction sites building homes on Saturdays, but those volunteers are just the tip of the iceberg. There are many other opportunities in which you, your business, civic or faith group can participate that require varying amounts of time and skill.  We have projects that allow you to volunteer once a year, once a month, once a week or for special assignments — you decide your level of involvement.

  • Use your marketing/publicity skills to reach potential homeowners, recruit new volunteers and advertise our activities
  • Assist with general office work and data entry

  • Work at our ReStore and donate items
  • Provide meals for volunteer work crews
  • Assist in the search and acquisition of property for home sites
