Since Habitat for Humanity is an International organization that seeks to eliminate poverty housing from the world, all Habitat affiliates are asked to “tithe,” or give ten percent of their contributions to fund home building in other countries. Tithing provides much needed funds for international building and it also gives affiliates the opportunity to demonstrate the spirit of Christian partnership.

Our latest tithe of $7,500 will help with the repair and rebuilding of some these homes.

To date, we have tithed approximately $37,000, enough to fund approximately seven homes. Our 2005 tithe will benefit the families who live in the town of Comanesti, Romania.
