Our most visible volunteers are at construction sites building homes on Saturdays; but those volunteers are just the tip of the iceberg. There are many other opportunities in which you and/or your business can participate that take varying amounts of time. We have projects that allow you to volunteer once a year, once a month, once a week or for special assignments — you decide your level of involvement.

• Help spread the word about the work of Habitat for Humanity
• Volunteer at a construction site
• Use your marketing/publicity skills to reach potential homeowners, recruit new volunteers, and advertise our activities
• Assist with general office work and data entry
• Help publish our quarterly affiliate and homeowner newsletters
• Assist in the search and acquisition for lands/lots for home sites
• Lend your knowledge of grant writing
• Work with homeowners-in-progress as mentors
• Join our speakers bureau for homeowner-in-progress classes once or twice a year
• Get your church involved
• Get young people involved
• Work at our Resale Store and donate items
• Provide meals for volunteer work crews
• Place information about Habitat in your company’s newsletter or church bulletin
• Donate professional services
• Identify potential homeowners among friends, neighbors, and co-workers
• Sponsor a fundraising event within your church, company, or civic affiliation
• Serve on a committee
• Read our newsletter

Our volunteers represent all faiths and backgrounds. They come together for the purpose of putting their beliefs into action by building communities and changing the lives of one homeowner, one nail at a time.
